A BROTHER WHO'S GOT YOUR BACK

Sometimes you catch it coming and going.  Sometimes your problems have you overwhelmed and surrounded.
In such moments you don’t have to be alone --- not even alone in the human sense.  In such moments you need a brother on your side, but not just any kind of brother.  You need A Brother Who’s Got Your Back.

Find out how to find that kind of brother and how God will use you and that brother to achieve a powerful victory for His Kingdom.

This message was delivered for the 100 Men in Black Celebration at Hills Chapel CME Church in Leeds, Alabama.

Listen well.

HOW TO COPE WITH A NEW KIND OF PROBLEM

College Calculus was and still is the hardest class I have ever taken--- ever.  Calculus went so far beyond the math I’d taken at Bassfield High School that it didn’t even seem like math.  The basic concepts of the course required academic skills I had never developed--- and I was an A student on two full academic scholarships.

Life is sometimes like Calculus. The problems we face can be so far beyond our experience and preparation that it’s not just a new problem, it’s a new kind of problem.

So God has delivered this Word for such times: HOW TO COPE WITH A NEW KIND OF PROBLEM

Listen well.

THANK YOU, SISTER HENRIETTA BARNETT

If you doubt the value or validity of faith in Jesus Christ, then you've never walked with a man into the hospital room where his wife just died. You've never stood at the foot of her bed as her husband held one hand and her son held the other. You've never heard both men ask God for strength that only God can give--- and receive it. Perhaps atheism or nihilism provides such strength; if so, you are welcome to it. But, as for me and my house, now more than ever we will continue to serve the Lord Jesus.

We mourn our loss of Sister Henrietta Barnett. We celebrate her life of faith on this Earth. We find comfort in her continuing life in Heaven.

MESSIAH IN THE PASSOVER

What:  MESSIAH IN THE PASSOVER, a vivid and exciting demonstration showing how Jesus fulfilled the ancient feast of Passover and instituted what we remember in Easter & the Holy Communion.

When: Thursday, March 22nd, at 6:00 P.M.

Where: Hall Memorial CME Church is at 541 Seibles Road, Montgomery, 334.288.0577

Montgomery, AL – (March 22, 2012) – Thursday, March 22, 2012, at 6 P.M.,  Hall Memorial CME Church (541 Seibles Road in Montgomery, AL) presents Messiah in the Passover.

MESSIAH IN THE PASSOVER, is a vivid and exciting demonstration showing how Jesus fulfilled the ancient feast of Passover.    MESSIAH IN THE PASSOVER will be conducted by Robert Walter of Chosen People Ministries, an over 100 year old ministry of Jews who have come to know Jesus as the promised Messiah.  From its humble beginnings in Brooklyn, New York, Chosen People Ministries has grown into a worldwide ministry to “the Jew first and to the Gentile.”

MESSIAH IN THE PASSOVER begins with the traditional Passover Seder table—complete with all the articles of this important Jewish celebration.  The speaker will explain the symbolic meanings of the various items of the Passover feast and highlight their relationship to the Last Supper that Jesus the Messiah celebrated with the disciples, giving special emphasis on the redemptive significance of the crucifixion.

MESSIAH IN THE PASSOVER gives the Christian community insight into Jewish traditions so that the Jewish roots of Christianity can be better understood.  This program also helps the Jewish and Christian communities understand their common heritage.

This meeting is free and open to the public, and Hall Memorial CME Church would like to invite the Christian as well as the Jewish community to attend.  6 P.M., Hall Memorial CME Church is located at 541 Seibles Road in Montgomery, Alabama.   A love offering will be received.
