What do we want from God? What
do we really want? And why does praying
for what we want work out so inconsistently?
Sometimes we get it. Sometimes we
don’t. Sometimes we get what we want,
but it doesn’t work out the way we wanted.
Why?
Maybe the problem isn’t with the asking. Maybe the problem is with the wanting.
The solution lies in a crucial choice.
Go back to Exodus and consider the choice between THE PROMISE OR
THE PRESENCE.
Listen
