Thursday, our
community was hit by a tornado, and the electricity at the church was restored
Saturday morning. Some of our neighbors
were still without power when we started worship Sunday morning.
So, I guess God
wanted to emphasize the theme of the message He gave me because at a certain
point in the sermon you’ll hear a gasp from the congregation then a moment of
silence followed by me looking up to heaven and saying, “You’re a trip.” That was the moment when the power went out
and then came back on.
The title of the
message is TURNING ON THE POWER AFTER THE STORM.
