BUILD YOUR OWN

Movies say that God spent 40 days and 40 nights explaining the 10 Commandments to Moses.  That’s not what the Bible says.  Scriptures says that God spent 40 days explaining a set of blueprints.  God called Moses up on the mountain to deliver a design that transformed the future of a band of homeless ex-slaves in the wilderness.

Take a look at the plans from the mountaintop and listen to the lesson they teach for this moment in our community, this moment in your life.

The message is:  BUILD YOUR OWN.

Listen well and please leave a comment.

WE’LL GET THERE BECAUSE WE AIN’T DRIVING (audio)

Ah, the family road trip.  See the country.  Explore the world together. Ah, the family road trip.  See the country.  Explore the world together.  Get on each others’ nerves and argue every grudge and misunderstanding in your family.

In the closing verses of Exodus 4, before He returned to Egypt, before He confronted Pharaoh, Moses took his family on a road trip.

It wasn’t pretty.

The lessons of their misadventure speak an important Word to our church families about how we get to where God wants us to go.  The title of this message in the Exodus series is:  WE’LL GET THERE BECAUSE WE AIN’T DRIVING.

Listen well.
